Cricut Birthday card

Thank you for joining us on My Cricut Craft Room's Birthday Blog Hop.  I made a card to share with you today.

I used the Damask Decor cartridge for this card. I haven't used it very much. I would look at the shapes, look at the cards feature, and wonder, "What can I do with this????  Now I know!!  It makes a great lacy looking background. I like how the various shapes can be turned into great backgrounds. This cartridge has been a hard one for me to figure out ways I can use it...until today!

The little girl is a digital stamp I got a while back.  (I wish I could remember where I got her, my computer crashed, and now I have start collecting my digital stamps all over again!)  I thought she was so cute.  I colored her with Copic markers and added some foil corners that I had.  I used the basic shapes to cut the scalloped square out, then my background is cut from Damask Decor.  The orange-ish color peeking out has glitter on it, to make it stand out.  I added some ribbon I had in my stash.  I hope you like it...and I know I will be using the Damask Decor cartridge a lot more.
