If you have arrived from Vicki's Blog, then you are in the right place.
Thank you for joining us on the My Cricut Craft Room's Father's Day Blog Hop. Today I made a card to share with you.
Dads come in many different sizes and shapes and temperaments. He may be an new dad, an old dad, the dad of many, or the dad of one. One thing almost all dads have in common is the love of their child(ren). It doesn't matter if the child is a babe in the arms of its mother or if the child is a mother herself.
My dad was always there for my brothers and me. He helped in whatever way he could, doing the best he could for his kids. He has been gone several years now, but I have fond memories of him.
My husband has been a dad to our kids. He laughs with them and cries with them. He steps up to the plate to help when they need it. While our kids are grown and own their own, he is still there to help them.
Father's Day celebrates dads of all kinds. I have made a card for my husband, wishing him a "Happy Father's Day." Here is the card....
I used a black cardstock for the background of the card, then I cut out a design from "Fancy Frames". Using the "hide" button, I hid the center cut-out, making this a solid background, using Goldrush paper from CTMH. The greeting and other embellishments came from Close to My Heart. I love using the Fancy Frames, because they are so decorative, and by using the hide button, they become very versatile.
Next you will go to Erica's Blog to see what she has made to share with everyone.
